O'Neals Saloon, Sidewalk Cafe
Author: Walter Leporati

1st October 1967: Exterior shot of the original O'Neals Saloon near Lincoln Center. Shortly after opening the NY State Liquor Authority forced the owners to change their name, as an antiquated law on the books made it illegal to serve alcohol in such premises as were commonly known and referred to as saloons. So, the establishment changed the 'S' to 'B' and became O’Neal’s Baloon.
